So Last Century Christmas Vintage Market at Beckenham Place Mansion, Sunday 10th December 2017

We’ve a wonderful Christmas Vintage Market waiting for you tomorrow, 10th December, at Beckenham Place Mansion no matter what the weather throws at us!

There’ll be a festive, hand-picked, selection of top-notch local vintage traders in the Drawing Room, Dining Room and Atrium, with a large selection of unique and unusual gift ideas for friends, relatives, and yourself, too.

You can expect to find a range of mid-century decor, lighting and homeware, vintage Christmas decorations, antique and vintage maps and medical drawings, framed prints, French brocante, clothing and accessories for the party season, jewellery, handmade items and much more.

Below stairs you’ll find a large range of locally brewed beer to enjoy, plus gift packs to take away, provided by Three Hounds Beer Company and mulled wine and bottles of English wine to sample and buy, from Tenterden’s Harbourne Vineyard.  The Mansion cafe will also be open, serving snacks plus hot and cold drinks.

Outside there’ll be wood-fired pizza by Sapore Vero and amazing coffee by Dungarees (weather permitting).

Our very special guests, five-piece bands The Coppergills and The Crooked Cranes, from Brockley, will be providing live music from the Gallery, adding to the seasonal atmosphere.

Pick up your Christmas tree, wreathes, garlands and other seasonal essentials from Branching Out, who will be based at the Mansion every December weekend until Christmas.

Splattermake craft and sewing school will be holding a Make a Soft Toy Angel workshop on the day as well as running similar, festive-themed craft workshops in their studio at the Mansion throughout the whole of December.  See their website for further details.

The artists in residence at the Mansion will be holding open studios on the day, too.  Pop up to the first floor to meet them and see their work in progress.  Catch wonderful views of the park from their windows while you’re up there!

So put on your thickest coat and come along on tomorrow to immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit – vintage style!
