So Last Century Vintage Market at the Mansion, Easter Monday 2nd April 2018, 10am-4pm

So Last Century returns to Beckenham Place Mansion on Easter Monday 2nd April 2018 with Vintage Market at the Mansion.

We so loved holding our vintage markets here, since the re-opening of the Mansion in 2017, that we decided to do more this year!

On Easter Monday there’ll be a hand-picked selection of around 20 top-notch vintage traders, on the ground floor in the Drawing Room, Atrium, Dining Room and outside, too.  Expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, homeware and furnishings, vintage travel posters, prints, antique maps and etchings, brocante, clothing, accessories, jewellery, and much more, including garden and house plants for sale.

There’ll be food and drink, too, including Californian-style tacos, burritos and quesadillas by Route 66, and amazing coffee by PLOT, situated outside, together with a cake stall.  Three Hounds will also be there with a wide selection of superb craft beer, including many local brews.

Splattermake and KnowHowYou sewing, textiles and craft studio will be open on the day, too, and you’ll be able to see the big range of classes and courses they have to offer.

Visit artist Sophia Lyons’ in her studio and gallery on the first floor, and see her beautiful canvasses, many of which will be available to buy.

Not to be missed is the fascinating Visitor Centre run by The Friends of Beckenham Place Park.  Crammed with artefacts, maps, and documents, you can find out about the rich history of the Park.

Don’t forget to check out Cigarette Records in their new shop, in the basement.  Owen will help you find what you’re looking for amongst the thousands of records he has in stock, and may introduce you to something you’ve never heard before!

So come along on the first Bank Holiday of the year to enjoy this beautiful park and discover some vintage treasure, and lots more, while you’re there!
