BECKENHAM - Beckenham Place Mansion

  • Beckenham Place Mansion Beckenham Hill Rd England, BR3 1SY United Kingdom (map)

So Last Century’s Vintage Market at the Mansion is back for May Day Bank Holiday at Beckenham Place Park!

We’ve been holding vintage markets at the Mansion ever since it re-opened to the public, back in spring 2017. It’s been wonderful to watch the building come back to life and thrive over the last few years. The Market has grown with it, and now hosts 40 amazing vintage dealers at each event.

Inside and around the Mansion, you’ll find mid 20th century furniture, lighting, homeware and ceramics, original posters, prints, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, vintage designer clothes, accessories, indoor and outdoor plants and lots more.

There’ll be delicious street food outside, plus excellent coffee by Beats & Grind and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb. The Mansion also hopes to have their ice cream trike out!

In addition, the excellent Mansion Bar and Cafe will be serving craft beer amongst other tipples, and delicious lunchtime food.

Our resident Market band, The Alvar Treefrogs, will be back with us again, serving up big slices of New Orleans jazz from the 1920s and 30s. They’ll be busking outside from midday - don’t miss them!

Some of the resident artists will be opening their studios on the day. It’s a great chance to see their work, have a chat and buy some outstanding original artwork.

Call in to see our friends KnowHowYou sewing school on the Ground Floor of the Mansion and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and Verso Vintage pop-up shop in the basement.

Make a day of it on May Bank Holiday by coming along - you’ll find an abundance of unusual and unique things to buy, and you can also explore the mansion and enjoy the beautiful park while you’re there!

FREE ENTRY
