VINTAGE MARKET AT THE MANSION IS GOING VIRTUAL!
The Government's decision to impose a minimum four-week national lockdown due to the increase in Covid-19 infections, means sadly So Last Century Vintage Market at Beckenham Place Mansion, which was due to take place on Sunday 15 November, can no longer go ahead as planned.
…however all is not lost, as we’re moving the Market onto Instagram Stories!
It’s really easy to visit - just tune in So Last Century Instagram Stories from 2pm onwards, on Sunday 15 November. Sit back and enjoy the show, and remember, you can scroll back and pause to look at something in particular for longer. The market is live for 24 hours, so there’s plenty of time to call in and have a look.
Who will be featured?
You’ll see vintage items from up to 40 of your favourite Vintage Market at the Mansion dealers, and some new ones as well.
What can I expect to find?
Original 60s posters, prints and art, antique maps, mid-century decor, lighting, furniture, homeware, brocante, salvage, vintage fashion, accessories, in fact much the same kind of exciting vintage things you’d find at the real Vintage Market at the Mansion!
We look forward to you joining us on Instagram at 2pm on Sunday 15 November for more exciting Mansion vintage discoveries, this time on the small screen!
We hope to be back at the Mansion for real on 13 December for the Vintage Christmas Market.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The idea is very simple...
For Visitors:
From 2pm, click on our Instagram Stories @solastc (the big circle with our logo, top left on your screen).
Items for sale by vintage traders will be shared here from 2pm, and the event will be ‘live’ for 24 hours. It’ll be available for even longer in our Highlights.
If you see something you like, contact the Trader directly to buy or to ask a question. Or purchase via their website if they have one (please don’t contact the Mansion).
Click through to the Trader’s profile to find more items they may have on offer. Please don’t forget to follow them.
The total number of stories we can have online at any one time is 100, so those at the beginning will automatically start to be deleted once this number is reached. We recommend taking a screenshot if something catches your eye, in case the story disappears.
There'll be lots to see, so rewind during the market for what’s new. The market will be ‘live’ in our Stories for 24hrs. After this time you can still visit and shop by going to our Highlights button.
Delivery services are under pressure again, so please be patient with posted or couriered purchases.
