So Last Century Vintage Market at the Mansion is back at Beckenham Place Park for another free event to visit and enjoy! *
As usual, there’ll be an exciting selection of more than 30 of the best vintage traders, some you’ll be familiar with and several new ones too, outdoors and inside the Mansion. Expect to find stunning mid-century furniture, lighting, home decor, homeware and ceramics, original travel posters, prints, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, fashion, accessories and lots more.
Stay around for lunch, as we’ll have a tempting array of street food vans outside, including gourmet burgers and sausages by Camper, delectable Kolkata kati rolls by Raastawala, amazing bao buns and noodles by You Bao, and tasty burritos and quesadillas by Route 66, plus the best coffee by Beats & Grind and tempting brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb.
In addition, the excellent Mansion Cafe and Bar will be serving their delicious new menu of food plus craft beer and other drinks, on a take-away service. They’ll also have their ice cream trike out doing the rounds!
Our amazing resident Market band, The Alvar Treefrogs, will be back again playing park-perfect New Orleans jazz from the 1920s and 30s. They’ll be busking out on the grass from midday - if you haven’t heard them play before, you’re in for a real treat!
While you’re at the Mansion, call in to see our friends KnowHowYou Sewing School on the ground floor and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and pop in to see Verso Vintage in their shop in the basement.
So come along on Sunday 13 June for lots of wonderful and unusual vintage things to buy, great food and drink and free entertainment. Explore the Mansion and enjoy the stunning parkland while you’re there!

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Safety
The safety and well-being of visitors and our traders is our utmost priority. These are the principal measures we will have in place on the day:
Face coverings must be worn inside the Mansion. We advise wearing one also whilst browsing the stalls outside.
A one-way system will be in operation indoors.
Stalls indoors and outdoors will spaced further apart than usual.
Contactless payments encouraged whenever possible
Hand sanitising stations will be in place at the main entrance, and elsewhere indoors and outside the building.
Toilets and high-frequency touch points sanitised regularly by Mansion cleaning staff..
Monitoring numbers of people entering and leaving the building, to allow social-distancing and prevent overcrowding.
There will be a Contact Tracing system in operation. You must register your visit by using the NHS Covid-19 app on your phone to scan the Mansion’s QR code displayed at the entrance to the building (if you don’t wish to use the app, or your phone doesn’t support it, we ask that you provide your name and phone number which we will retain on a written register for a maximum of 21 days).
Please don’t come if you feel unwell.
Please follow the latest Government restrictions whilst at the market.
