Kicking-off the summer season, Vintage Market at the Mansion returns to Beckenham Place Park, coinciding with the Queen’s 70th jubilee weekend!
This is our sixth summer at Beckenham Place Park and the Market is twice the size is was back in 2017, now hosting 40 amazing vintage dealers at each event, outside and indoors.
At the front and rear of the Mansion, and inside, you can expect to find mid 20th century furniture, lighting, ceramics, homeware, original posters, prints, books, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, designer vintage clothes, accessories and lots more.
There’ll be delicious street food outside, plus excellent coffee by Beats & Grind and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb. The Mansion will have their ice cream trike out, too!
In addition, the excellent Mansion Bar and Cafe will be serving craft beer amongst other tipples, and delicious lunchtime food.
We’re pleased to welcome the Friends of Beckenham Place Park to the Market for the first time. They’ll have a stall outside at the front - please visit them, say hello and find out about what they've achieved and the great work they continue to do for the Park and its visitors.
Our resident Market band, The Alvar Treefrogs, will be back with us again, serving up big slices of New Orleans jazz from the 1920s and 30s. They’ll be busking out on the grass in the afternoon - don’t miss them!
Some of the resident artists will be opening their studios on the day. It’s a great chance to see their work, have a chat and buy some outstanding original artwork.
Call in to see our friends KnowHowYou sewing school on the Ground Floor of the Mansion and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and Verso Vintage pop-up shop in the basement.
Pick up delicious cheese, vegetables, cured meats, pastries and other produce from Beckenham Place Park Food and Farmers’ Market open alongside Vintage Market at the Mansion.
Why not make a day of it this Jubilee weekend by coming along - you’ll find lots of unusual and unique things to buy, delicious food, great live music - and explore the mansion and enjoy the beautiful park while you’re there!
