So Last Century Vintage Market at the Mansion is popping up again sooner than expected!

On Saturday 20th July we’ll be part of the celebrations to relaunch Beckenham Place Park following the wonderful additions and improvements to this beautiful open space over the past two years. The market opens at noon this time, but as usual you’ll still find the market full of the best vintage traders around.

There’ll be a hand picked selection of 25+ top-quality dealers as always, in the Atrium, Drawing Room, Dining Room and outside. Expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, homeware and furnishings, vintage travel posters, prints, antique maps and etchings, brocante, clothing, accessories, jewellery, and lots more.

The resident artists will be opening their studios on the first floor where you can see their amazing work, some of which will be available to buy. Several of the artists’ studios on the the lower ground floor will also be open.

Don’t forget to check out Know How You Sewing School in their studio on the ground floor, and Cigarette Records in their shop, on the lower ground floor. Owain will help you find what you’re looking for amongst the thousands of records he has in stock, and may introduce you to something you’ve never heard before!

And not to be missed, is the fascinating Visitor Centre run by The Friends of Beckenham Place Park. Crammed with artefacts, maps, and documents, you can find out about the rich history of the Park.

There’s lots more happening on this special day. Here’s a taste of what will be going on :

Opening of the wild swimming lake
Boating activities
New cafe in the restored Homesteads buildings
Classic car display in front of the Mansion
Family & children’ activities
Food stalls and bars
Live music and Georgian dancing
and more to be added!

Make sure you don’t miss this day of celebration to mark the official re-opening of Beckenham Place Park!
