BECKENHAM - Christmas Vintage Market at the Mansion

  • Beckenham Place Mansion Beckenham Hill Rd England, BR3 1SY United Kingdom (map)

We’re excited to bring So Last Century Christmas Vintage Market at the Mansion back to Beckenham Place Park this December!

On the day there’ll be a great collection of 30 of the best vintage traders, outside and in the Ground Floor rooms of the Mansion. You can expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, furniture, homeware, books, prints, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, fashion, accessories and much more.

There’ll be delicious street food outside, the excellent Mansion Bar will be serving mulled wine amongst other tipples, and the Mansion Cafe will be operating a take-away service.

Pop in to KnowHowYou Sewing School on the Ground Floor of the Mansion and see the various classes and courses they have to offer.

And don’t forget to have a rummage in the Verso Vintage pop-up shop in the basement

So put on your warmest coat and come along on 12 December for some Christmas present inspiration, and an abundance of unusual and unique things to buy. And enjoy the beautiful park while you’re there!

FREE ENTRY
Step-free entrances to Ground Floor rooms only, with level access throughout. Dogs welcome inside.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Safety
The safety and well-being of visitors and our traders is our highest priority. These are the principal measures we’ll have in place on the day (subject to the health situation at the time):

  • Face coverings must be worn inside the Mansion.

  • Stalls indoors and outdoors will spaced slightly further apart than prior to 2020.

  • Contactless payments encouraged whenever possible

  • Hand sanitising stations will be in place at the main entrance, and elsewhere indoors and outside the building.

  • Toilets and high-frequency touch points sanitised regularly by Mansion cleaning staff.

  • Monitoring of numbers of people entering and leaving the building, to allow social-distancing and prevent overcrowding.

  • There’ll still be a Contact Tracing system in place. If you wish, you may register your visit by using the NHS Covid-19 app on your phone to scan the Mansion’s QR code displayed at the entrance to the building (if you don’t wish to use the app, or your phone doesn’t support it, you can provide your name and phone number which we will retain on a written register for a maximum of 14 days).

  • Please don’t come if you feel unwell.

  • Please follow the latest Government restrictions whilst at the market.

  • Information about the Mansion’s Covid-19 measures can be found here

If you do prefer to arrive by car we advise avoiding the busiest period (11am-2pm). Note that vehicle entry is only via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance ( Sat Nav: BR3 1SY) opposite the Church of St Augustine. If your GPS takes you elsewhere, try SE6 3PU instead, or use ///follow.skinny.fade

St George’s Road car park, near to Beckenham Junction Station, is free on Sundays and just 12 minutes walk away. There is on-street parking close to the Downham entrance on Old Bromley Road (Sat Nav: BR1 4LE) and near to Ravensbourne Station, (Sat Nav: BR3 5HE). Please respect local residents and other road users, and park considerately. The Mansion is an enjoyable 15 minute stroll across the Park from both entrances.
