We’re excited to announce the first of two Christmas markets happening this December, and the first one is taking place at a new venue for So Last Century!
AMP Studios is a railway arch mews off the Old Kent Road, not far from Queens Road Peckham station and New Cross Gate. Tucked underneath the London to Brighton rail line, a pair of refurbished arches open out onto a festoon-lit covered pavilion designed by Gruff Architects, and an open courtyard. The Studios is one of several atmospheric locations run by Maverick Projects in this exciting part of south east London.
There’ll be an exciting selection of 30 great vintage traders, outdoors in the pavilion and courtyard, and inside the arches.
You’ll find affordably-priced mid-20th century furniture, lighting, decor, homeware and ceramics, prints, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, clothing, accessories and lots more.
The bar will be serving delicious mulled wine, there’ll be coffee in the yard, alongside Slate & Crumb providing a huge variety of the most incredible chocolate brownies. You can expect some great festive music too, which we guarantee won’t all be the usual tunes wheeled out every year!
So put on your thickest coat and take a wander down the Old Kent Road for some Christmas present inspiration, an abundance of unusual and unique things to buy, and a glass of mulled wine to warm up with!
