Sadly, this event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. We hope to be back later in the year.

Below is a description of what we originally had planned for Easter Monday.

So Last Century returns once again to Beckenham Place Mansion, a beautiful, unrestored, and relatively undiscovered, Georgian mansion house set in stunning parkland in south-east London.

On the day there’ll be a stunning, hand picked selection of 20+ top-quality vintage traders, in the Atrium, Drawing Room, Dining Room and outside. You can expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, homeware and furnishings, vintage travel posters, prints, antique maps and etchings, brocante, clothing, accessories, jewellery, and much more.

There’ll be street food outside, including gorgeous wood-fired pizza by Van Dough, mouthwatering bao buns and noodles by You Bao, delicious burritos, tacos and quesadillas by Route 66, tasty free-range sausage baguettes by Camper, plus excellent coffee by Beats & Grind and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb. The excellent Basement Bar and Mansion Cafe will also be open. We also hope to have an ice cream trike if it’s sunny!

The resident artists will be opening their studios on the first floor where you can see their amazing work, some of which will be available to buy. Several of the artists’ studios on the the lower ground floor may also be open.

Don’t forget to check out Know How You Sewing School in their studio on the ground floor, and Cigarette Records in their shop, on the lower ground floor.  Owain will help you find what you’re looking for amongst the thousands of records he has in stock, and may introduce you to something you’ve never heard before.

So come along on Easter Monday and find lots of vintage treasures, explore the mansion and enjoy the beautiful park while you’re there!
